Sometimes during the Journey of Life, events occur which may cause us to create notions that separate us from our higher power, and/or purpose of being. This can lead us down a path steeped in suffering, and confusion. The suffering ends when we let go of the confusing notions that brought us down this path away from our higher power, and/or purpose of being.
Only after letting go can we begin to stop “looking” for it, and start letting it “BE” in our hearts, and minds. This will allow us to “BE” with our higher power, and/or purpose once again! IMO the letting go process is basically a paradigm shift that changes the focus from “looking” to “BEing”, which can then lead to personal fulfillment.
Allowing fear as the only reason one continues to hold on, gets in the way of this paradigm shift to “BEing”. When fear is the culprit of holding on, yet another paradigm shift must take place to let go of the fear. The fear paradigm shift will depend on the root of the fear. One such shift may be that letting go of these notions which lead us to the path of separation may be difficult, because it can challenge our ego with fear of the reality that we did not, or may not get it right THIS time. The fact is, if we get it right just once, to borrow a line from the character Jacob on LOST, “Anything that happens before that is just progress”. This paradigm shift can lead to letting go of fear rooted in overly judging ourselves, so that one can proceed with the letting go process of shifting to “BEing”.
The bottom line is, if we let go and let be in these cases, the rest just flows. You see…sometimes it is wise to “BE”, (as Bruce Lee wrote in the Tao of Jeet Kune Do), “like a cork riding the crests, and troughs of a wave in the ocean”
So here’s to hoping your “Quest to Just Be” is rich in fulfillment, Namaste y’all!
It was a GREAT ride! 🙂
Fear is a powerful tool.
Fear is just a feeling fear can never kill you,…
