To ensure an effective platform for the purposes of motivating quality changes in our country and subsequently the world, we will be implementing the following “Rules of the Post” (RotP) when moderating discussions in this community:
- All inappropriate statements will be edited with Strike Through font and have a link to this page added to the end of them “(RotP)“. In the case that an entire post is found to be inappropriate, the entire post will be edited as aforementioned.
- The second strike that one receives in the same month will result in a warning email and after a third strike within the same month, then as ye old saying goes “Three strikes, your out!”, we will then ban you from the site.
- The following are what we will be considering as inappropriate statements:
- Statements that are incite-full and/or hate oriented
- Flame baiting
- Personal attacks
- Information presented as fact and proven to be false
- Writing in a language other than World Wide English (for now).
- Statements containing language that would be outside of PG-13 rating.
One way to be sure that your statements are not stricken is to simply stay on topic (the topic of the article NOT the one created by a commenting poster), and cite any facts that you are presenting so that they can be verified. As far as citing goes, we encourage links as they will make the job of verifying easier for all.
We also encourage anyone who finds statements to be in violation of these simple rules to inform us at our e-complaints box. Please keep in mind that this email is ONLY for submitting links to statements violating the rules above, complaints about the site, the rules or the content thereof should be sent to our e-suggestion box.
